My Fair Lady (1964) - a musical film adaptation of the Lerner and Loewe stage musical of the same name, based on the 1938 film adaptation of the original stage play Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. Gloriously witty adaptation of the Broadway musical about Professor Henry Higgins, who takes a bet from Colonel Pickering that he can transform unrefined, dirty Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle (the girl who he said at the firt sight :"A woman who utters such disgusting, depressing noises...has no right to be anywhere, no right to live.") into a lady.
