*The Warming Greenhouse

Many different things can affect the climate of our planet. Understanding more how the Earth works can help us understand how our planet acts like a greenhouse and how changes in the balance of the Earth system can change the climate.
The Sun is the source of all energy on our planet. But many different factors affect how much of the sun’s energy is let into the Earth system and how much of it is let out into space. Making sure that just enough is let in and out is a delicate balance. Currently the system is not in balance and more heat is let in than is let out.
